                                                        JEWISH ART IN MY LIFE

Jewish art has been a major presence in my life. While living in Israel I introduced the first day treatment program for individuals with psychiatric diagnoses. Working as an expressive therapist,I used art , dance , drama , and music to diagnose and provide therapy to patients. I pioneered integrating Jewish rituals , holidays , and life cycle ceremonies into the lives of hospitalized patients.

In addition to treating individuals with psychiatric diagnoses. I lectured at Bar Ilan University, The Israel Ministry of Health, The Israeli Family Therapy Association, and the Israeli Psychiatric Organization. In the United States I lectured at Leslie College in Israel and in Boston Massachusetts.
